Who is Jon?
I have been studying the art of cooking methods, techniques and cuisines for decades. While others find cooking stressful, I see it as a fun and relaxing activity to explore my creativity. Many people have suggested I open a restaurant or food truck, but I'm not interested in running a physical business. I have experience working in restaurants, bartending, and hosting dinner parties.

I don’t claim to know everything but I am always trying to learn something about new ingredients, cooking methods and cultures. Some of my food influences throughout my life have been:
Emeril Lagasse - watching Emeril Live with his live band and audience. BAM! and Smell-o-vision are great callbacks.
Anthony Bourdain - he was a bit rough around the edges but was honest and very fun to watch
Iron Chef - this has become one of the fun things I like to do. Look into someone’s refrigerator or pantry and think about what I could make with what is on hand. Although I do like watching the original Iron Chef episodes with the voice over for English.
So, after a lifetime of self taught cooking and finding my passion I’ve decided to do what I like to do and enable clients to enjoy eating/entertaining and leave the cooking to me.
